A Shabby Chic Rustic Wedding

The last few weeks I have been happily working on making decor for my bestie's wedding this summer.  I am now in love with all things jute and burlap.  And my glue gun.  How did I ever survive without it?

Oh, look!  Jute and burlap!

And with some purple wild flowers from my yard, which ended up bleeding purple all over the vase and my kitchen table.

A burlap rose in a ridiculously cute Straus Family Creamery bottle which is wrapped in jute.

I couldn't get the labels off the Kombucha bottles, so I painted them white and they turned out especially lovely, I'd say.

Mass production of burlap roses has begun.  I searched outside for some small twigs for the stems.

Teaming up with my husband who has amazing carpenter skills to make dozens of rustic crates.  He measures and cuts the wood, I assemble, stain, and paint.  Lovin' the staples.

Trying to decide which look to go with... My bestie bride-to-be loved them all, so some of each it is!
