Here is the banner that will hang across an old vintage suitcase at my bestie's wedding. Made from burlap squares, burlap roses, and hanging on jute. The hangy strings are from cutting the burlap- if you don't know the trick to cutting a straight line on burlap, then you must look it up! Amazing little trick. Plus, you get all these wonderful little strings to do other things with.
And I must say, I'm very proud of myself for not using my DIY wax paper stencils on this one. Free hand. Not bad! And it saved tons of time.

I bought a couple yards of lace ribbon, which is looking pretty fantastic against the chocolate brown burlap.
