Sweet Babies, Barn Doors, & A Romantic Shabby Chic Wedding

Yikes!  I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post!  This summer is going by way too fast.  At least I'm enjoying it!  :)  This first image is from a shoot I did earlier this month.  Children's photography is not my specialty, but I enjoy doing it when asked.  How can I not, when I get such sweetness as this?

My husband's boss is remodeling the Green Tortoise here in Lowell, and he let me have a set of the barn doors from the building.  I'm painting one side Shabby white for a photo backdrop, but I'll leave the other side 'Tortoise' green.  A little piece of history right there.  Here's my hubby moving them around and placing them where I want them.  :)  He makes it look easy, but I'm pretty sure each door was at least a couple hundred pounds!

Here's a couple of shots... love love love the light.   And that face.

We were finished testing out the barn doors, and I decided to take a couple quick silhouette shots.  I love how you can see that he has just a hint of a grin in the first one.

And here are a few sneak peaks of my bestie's Shabby Chic, Rustic, Romantic wedding from last weekend.  It turned out so great (IMO) and Joy looked so so beautiful.

 Mrs. Turner...

Here's a fun shot requested by the bride.  I think they did it well!

They had an amazing candy bar, and Joy was most excited about these gumballs she found that matched her color perfectly.  (I was most excited about the coffee beans in little burlap sacks.)

Super awesome Shabby Chic...  banner?  Not sure what you'd call this, but it was purtiful.

I was meaning to make a 'Bridal Party' sign, but spaced out and made it 'Wedding Party', but ended up hanging it in the entrance to the reception.  I thought it looked pretty fantastic.

My 'Cards' banner plus Joy's amazing old suitcase equals awesomeness.

And lastly, here's a little something I made just for me.  One of my favorite quotes from Chris Tomlin's 'Indescribable'.  Someday, this will be tattooed on my self.
